Cerave SA Cleanser + Vitamin C

I recently bought the Cerave SA Cleanser and Advanced Clinical Vitamin C serum but a bit shaky to use them together because of what i have read. I am not too sure if they can be used together seeing that one is a cleanser and the other is a serum. Please advise 😢

hi! Usually salicylic acid would be irritating when combine with vitamin c, but since its a cleanser form I think its okay to use them together. Make sure to pay attention to irritations though, if there are none then youre good :)

Using both may cause irritation so it really depends how well your skin can tolerate the products. Sometimes I use my Aveeno 0.5% SA cleanser and TO vit.c + AA and my skin is totally okay with it. I suggest try using the cleanser first for few weeks and then add the vit c but not on the same routine. And when your skin is not showing any signs of irritation, you can try using both products on the same routine and see how it goes. Once or twice a week is a good practice when adding new products or changing your am/pm routine. Good luck and I wish you all the best!
