storing excess serum from sheet mask-is it safe?

I really love sheet masks and really love those sheet mask that leaves many excess serum in it. But I could never use all of the excess serum in one use, because I just don't like applying these serum to my other part of body--idk it was just feel sticky, I tried it before and end up immediately rinse that body part because it was so uncomfortable. I also hate to throw away the excess serum because it's saaaddd I love them too much🥲🥲 Is it safe if I move the excess serum to separate container to use later? Could I store it in room temperature or should I put it on my fridge? And could I mix excess serums from 1 sheet mask with another?

Sheet masks are formulated for one time use and down have the same preservatives as regular serums, they’re made to be opened and exposed to air for 10-30 minutes and then disposed. So honestly no it’s not really safe to store the leftover serum, you can’t say how they’ll keep and how fast they’ll go bad.

This is correct. Michelle from labmuffinbeauty science has made a very thorough video on this topic

You can store is in a separate container preferrably with lock so it won’t evaporate and won’t be contaminated as well👍🏻🌸

Based on what I know I think its not really safe to do that since you can't really ensure that you store it in a safe and clean container also I once watched Michelle from Lab Beauty Muffin and based on her explanation storing excess serum is not a good thing to do since sheet mask actually designed as a one times use only
