Toner and Retinol combo?

Hi everyone 👋🏼 I am new to the skincare game, so sorry if this is a bad question lol. I am looking for a good toner and retinol combination to use together for my PM routine. I’ve been using the CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol Serum and I like it a lot, but I wouldn’t be opposed to trying something new when it runs out. I am not currently using a toner because again I’m new and just starting to learn. I didn’t want to buy something expensive and then have it end up being wrong for my skin type, so that’s why I’m posting this here! Please drop any recommendations below! I appreciate any and all advice!! Thanks in advance 🤗

I suggest you use toner that more to hydrating the skin and calming it ♥️ Here are some ♥️

I think you can’t go wrong with hydrating toners! Even oily skin can benefit from it since some oily skin types are compensating with oil since their skin is so dehydrated (aka mine 😅). Here are a few I’ve tried so far and love! I haven’t met a hydrating toner I’ve hated so you don’t have to go for the most expensive one. Also, if you click on our suggestions of the tagged products, you can read reviews and experiences from individuals with the same skin type as yours to get a better understanding of whether you’d like it. Hope that helps!

Since Retionol can dry out your skin, I’d recommend a hydrating toner. Here are some toners to check out:
