SIDE EFFECTS Of SKINCARE PRODUCTS

I've definitely used one too many actives and chemical exfoliators once or twice. I know when I've overdone it when even my gentlest products (missha essences, etc) sting my face....usually around my eye area. Once or twice ive overdone the spot treatment and caused some pretty intense peeling. Whenever I've overdone exfoliation or spot treatment....I stop using all actives and chemical exfoliators and stick to my most gentle, hydrating and moisturizing products.

The product I’ve used that gave me a side effect of a burning sensation is the starface exfoliating night water and it made my face look so red! I think that was because I was over exfoliating! Right after I used aloe gel and that calmed it down so much!

I once tried a Neutrogena facial sunscreen (can't remember which one) and my skin immediately burned so bad I had to wash it off and apply my CeraVe PM moisturizer. Oof that was a bad one, the tingling of it lingered even after washing it off.

Secret Key Lemon Peeling Gel and their Multi Cell Night Repair Ampoule. These are the products that irritated my skin before. As for treating them, when the peeling gel compromised my skin barrier, I had an order coming from YesStyle, but it wasn’t coming anytime soon. My skin needed some care right away. 😭 But the products I had on hand were barely helping, so I ended up buying Krave’s Great Barrier Relief. Such a great product. I saw an improvement right away. The irritation lasted for quite a while, so I just made sure not to use any actives and only soothing/calming/repairing products.

Sid you give someone this product since it irritated you because this is alot of products😬
