what are skin care products suitable for pregnant women?

Hello. I really confused right now. I'm pregnant and some people suggest me to didn't put any skin care or make up because to many dangerous ingredients for my baby. But, after two months, my face have small pimple or rash on T-zone, and chin. So, can you help me to suggest the products suitbale for pregnant women? Thank you.

Most of the skincare you'd use is safe during pregnancy/breastfeeding too. Generally retinoids (tretinoin, retinol, retinal etc.) are not advised to use. Some doctors say that you can't use BHAs some say it's fine up to 2%. Personally I wouldn't use too high of a % AHAs like those 15%+ Glycolic peels because my OBGYN said not to. Benzoyl Peroxid is supposed to be fine up to 5% but I've never used it thus haven't asked my doc about it. Azelaic acid can be your safest bet for breakouts. I hate the fearmongering about chemical sunscreens during pregnancy as well... But I'd ask my doctor about it beforehand, just to be safe. Also congrats😊 Source: i'm pregnant

Congrats for you. Hmm this is confusing. Better go to obgyn to discuss about this. As i know don't use salicylic acid, retinol products. So you can avoid these ingredients from the brand you wanna use
