Rough Effects of CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser

Hey everyone! I was hoping to get some guidance from those of you who are more familiar with CeraVe and/or cleanser products in general. For context, I have oily-ish combination skin. I bought the CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser sometime last year, and every time I use it, I get a few whiteheads in my t-zone the next day. Does anyone happen to know if it’s a certain ingredient in this specific cleanser’s formula that can trigger a whitehead breakout? I’m hoping to purchase a new cleanser soon and I want to try to avoid any particular ingredients that might be incompatible with my skin type. I would really appreciate any help! Thank you so much!

The Foaming was all right on me. Nothing special but it clean witouth irritating. However the Hydrating Cleanser just burrrrrns my skin. If I don't remove it fast, my skin gets red and inflamed. I have read a lot of people complaining about both cleansers on Instagram. The Foaming provokes the same reaction you had, the Hydrating the same reaction I have. Also many complain about reactions with their moisturizers No one knows exactly what it could be. CeraVe doesn't listen and dermatologists keep on saying that the products are safe an dif something it is caused by Niacinamide but there's no Niacinamide in the Hydrating Cleanser.

The hydrating cleanser irritates me too! It burns around my eyes... But only occasionally and I can't work out why 😔

Too much dryness can cause breakouts! So definitely, I’m assuming you use it day and night, just use it at night! And a soothing in the morning of just a splash of water.

I did use the foaming cleanser for a few weeks and noticed a lot of peeling and dehydration. I thought it was the active that I was using that was causing it but as soon as I switched into another cleanser, the peeling went away. I currently use these cleansers and I’ve no issues with it! Highly rec!

No I use that cleanser and it doesn’t Contain any ingredients to do that I’d suggest you leave them alone as they go away on their own If you pop Them, they will leave a mark Maybe you can switch things up and get a SA cleanser and use in between
