The Ordinary: Is it Worth the Hype?

Hello everyone! I’m a newbie so i would like to ask the pros if the ordinary aha 30% + bha 2% is safe for sensitive skin? Also, is it safe to apply on the buttocks and inner thigh? Feel free to comment down below! I would like to hear your opinion on this topic. Thanks!

The main issue with the peeling solution comes from not following suggestions. Patch test first. Three drips is enough for the entire face (you don't need to look like you have blood smeared over your face like on social media) . 10minutes is the maximum time to use, and as a first time user you should be thinking of half that. I would be careful with inner thigh and buttock area as they are close to very sensitive/delicate areas of skin. I have sensitive skin, but I haven't had issues with this acid peel, I am always cautious with it tho.

I saw this girl on tiktok who suggested to try this for skin hyperpigmentation on the buttocks and inner thigh. Now I’m having second thoughts. Thanks for sharing your opinion!

Nit really recommended for sensitive skin. Its too high and it might irritate your skin. As for the other body parts i would suggest a patch test first and dont leave it on for too long

If you are beginners to chemical exfoliation , i would say to stay away from the TO since it is a very strong and powerful exfoliator. Wrong usage could worsen the skin concern you have and some does experience chemical burn. If you want to try it, follow the guideline given properly and use it in shorter time than 10 minutes. Apply in small quantity and use a lot of of soothing and moisturizing products after that. And wear your sunscreen !

That exfoliator is too strong especially for a beginner with sensitive skin. There are even some people who are not a beginner to exfoliator that have resilient skin and they still get sensitized by this. Patch test before using this.

This too high for my skin. So i still afraid to try. I tried their glycolic, but honestly didn't like it. So itchy.
