if you want to refine your skin texture look into an AHA product. AHA is a chemical exfoliant that works on the surface of the skin.

I have tried it, but it didn't work, is it because the concentrations too mild?

Never depend on a toner with AHA and BHA to actually exfoliate the skin. They are really mild. You want to use the Cosrx Power Liquids, those are exfoliatiors. If you choose to use both BHA and AHA, remember BHA first so it dissolves the oils in your pores and AHA after for the surface of the skin. Be patient and build up use slowly.

does all the products with both AHA and BHA don’t exfoliate the skin? I have a sensitive skin so I always look for milds exfoliators.
