10% Niacinamide

How do you use Niacinamide with over 5% (because I heard it's better to use one with around 2-5% only) Is it okay to apply it directly on your face? Coz 10% is way too much, I think?

For sensitive skin I think below 5% is really safe as high percentage can irritate your skin. I have resilient skin so it didn't cause any problem. Again niacinamide works amazing from 2 ro 5 % so it's not necessary to use higher if you're feeling not comfortable đź’–

My skin is not sensitive but I didn’t like the feeling of the TO 10% niacinamide. It always felt tingly. Haven’t tried others with that concentration since my current serum and moisturizer has some B3.

I can't deal with that high percentage, for me to lower the percentage I will mix it with my basic moisturizer

Higher percentages aren’t necessarily better for your skin. My first niacinamide serum was TO 10% niacinamide and 1% zinc. I found that it cause my skin to flare up a bit and felt a burning sensation. Overall, it is better to start a low concentration anf work your way up if you feel like you can handle it.

I would just mix in a few drops with other products and overtime slowly use more and more and see if using higher amounts gives you benefits or irritation.
