Is sunscreen containing alcohol okay?

Hi, I’m searching for sunscreen that work best for my dry skin. But i got read that most of sunscreens have alcohol as their ingredients to enhance absorption, so I’m a bit curious if alcohol-contained sunscreen is safe to be used or not? And do anyone has any suggested sunscreen for me to try? Thank youu 🥰🥰

I would not recommend sunscreen with alcohol for dry skin since it might be drying and make your skin feels very tight in negative aspect of this word

I have dry skin and my fav spf contains alcohol. it’s not that bad unless you are sensitive for this smell.

Sunscreen with alcohol is drying especially if it ranks 2nd or 3rd on the ingredient list eg Biore ones. Even for my combination tzone oily dehydrated skin finds them drying. If it ranks at the bottom of the list, might be still fine but I would still find one without.

So I personally also have a sunscreen with alcohol in it. But I use a lot of hydrating toners/ serums so I dont mind if it has alcohol in it. But I'm also looking for alc free sunscreen.
