Where to incorporate my 2-in-1 toner and moisturiser

I really like the brand laneige and have been using it’s cream skin refiner. but recently i have added a serum into my routine which complicates as to at which step to use the serum as the cream skin refiner is both a toner and moisturiser and a serum is supposed to be used after the toner and before the moisturiser so at which step should i use the serum before or after the refiner?

Hmm, laneige says this should be used at the toner step, immediately after cleansing. However, I've heard of others using this after serum step... Generally, we should use from thinnest-thickest consistency. So if your serum is thinner, you can use that before, otherwise if its thick, you can use it after. Also you can try working out which order suits your skin better, by observing how they layer on top of each other and whether they can fully absorb. If layering the serum after laneige causes it to not absorb well (sits on top of your skin), then try using your serum first.

i use it right before my cream since it’s literally a cream made into a toner

I'm using this in my emulsion step ( right before moisturizer ) This is the product that i had disregard the consistency and placed it wherever base on how it feels. It's too heavy for me as a toner despite being watery, i can feel my subsequent product having difficulty sinking in and sometimes pill depends on my serum. While as an emulsion, i got control over it. If i feel that my routine is getting heavy i will stop at this step ( emulsion ) and if i feel that it's not enough i will apply moisturizer. And i also get to layer it base on what i need if it's in the emulsion step since my serums etc. has already sink in.
