Oily/Sensitive
In order for Vitamin C to better penetrate the skin, it's advisable to keep the skin's pH balanced, and that's where pH-balancing toners come in. Since snail mucin's pH level is 6.5 to 7, it's not what I would recommend to be incorporated into a Vitamin C routine. Whenever using actives like Vitamin C, exfoliants or retinol, we always have to build the routine around said actives in order to increase their efficacy. So yeah, that mucin probably does not sit well with Vitamin C since it may greatly affect its efficacy.
Come to think of it, I don't think snail mucin goes well with any active due to its pH level.
