i would personally use azelaic acid just because it is more convenient. unlike vitamin c, it is more stable and it does not oxidize and start to turn bad the moment you open the container. also, with azelaic, you dont have to worry about the other products in your routine and whether or not you can layer them with each other

that's true! one of my concerns of vitamin c was that it would oxidize very fast. but I've read many good reviews on the timeless skincare vitamin c and felt like giving it a try

agree ! vitamin c is very unstable and need an extensive care in storing it so it doesn't get oxidize easily. Azelaic acid is more stable and help to fight acne and hyperpigmentation at the same time

I would use a vitamin c and azelaic acid In your AM routine and retinol at night. However, in the form of Ascorbic Acid it's the least stable and will also make the Azelaic Acid less effective so I would use a vitamin c derivative. You'd also ideally want it in an airless pump to stop it from getting easily oxidized. The inkey list make a good one.
