Dry/Resilient
here is some comparison for both products.
similarities
- both contains 10% niacinamide
- feels a bit sticky
Tiam b3 source
- have 2% arbutin to combat hyperpigmentation
- less sticky and doesn't pill like The Ordinary
- more value since it contains 40ml of serum
- great for hyperpigmentation and sebum/oil control
- no irritation occur and not drying for dry skin peeps like me.
- love this, i'd repurchase soon
- did saw some improvement on fresh scars after constant use
-doesn't really work on old and really dark hyperpigmentation
The Ordinary
- lots of fake products, hard to find a genuine ones
- only 30ml compared to tiam
- somehow pills when layer with other skincare, need to stick with simple routine when using this
- a hit or miss product, a hg for others but cause irritation for some people.
-mostly focus on acne and skin troubles, not much fo r hyperpigmentation.

I don't like the ordinary - not only because it contains zinc, and usually my skin reacts badly to zinc, but also because the brand itself is not as good as everyone think.

I have used the TO one but I switched now to one from facetheory. I didn't dislike the TO one but I did not see so much change to be honest. I thought it was because my skin didn't need niacinamide but the other one I have works quite well. I also tried the one from Revolution Skincare which is basically a copy of TO but it also wasn't that great. I have tried other TIAM products but not yet the niacinamide serum but I have a sample of it that's waiting to be used 😅

Okay, i can't explain it based on my personal experience since i never try them but for their facts and claims:
The Ordinary
- Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%
- this products is mainly focusing on treating acne and dark spot
- would be major fans of this products but still there's some of them hate it cuz it's didn't works well on their skin.
Tiam Vita B3
- Niacinamide 10% + Alpha Arbutin 2%
- instead of treating acne, this would be focus more on fading acne marks and brightening our dull skin
- suitable for all skin type
- so far, i never heard any bad review about this products
