it can definitely help in combination with other ingredients. some might say it's not necessary in your routine but it definitely can be beneficial. there are some toners that are more hydrating and soothing which is great for dry or dehydrated skin. there are also toners that are exfoliating due to the Acids they contain and those are great a few times a week if you have pores that are prone to becoming clogged.
