Acne prone is not a skin type, but rather a condition, just like dehydrated I think. It is often associated with those who have oily skin based on the logic that people with that skin type producing more oil so it tends to clog pores and causing acne. However, in reality, those who have dry skin also can develop acne prone condition, but maybe just quite rare compared to the people with oily skin type.
