I do recommend this Inkey List Retinol too. It is not too stong. If you slowly build it up this probably will be oke for a skin who is new to Retinol. This is my first retinol. I’ve been using it for a few months now and my skin is oke with this. When I started I did it to often then it will irritated my skin and caused break outs. Then I actually went slow and buikd it up, that went much much better😊

I also have feeling like you. But i do research many articles and i found the sandwich method that can minimize the irritation. Of course i go with the super-low percentage. My first retinol is only 0,1% 🤣🤣
Its a local product on my country, so i can tag the product here

the sandwich method is applying moisturiser, then retinol, then moisturiser again. instead of directly retinol followed by a moisturiser. DO NOT FORGET to moisturise after using retinol btw!!!

It's recommended to use Retinol from mid 20s onwards but it's fine if you'd like to begin earlier.
Remember to patch test. Introduce retinol to your routine once a week for a few weeks then move on to twice weekly. Begin with a low percentage!
Moisturise!! And use sunscreen!
I'm following you on IG. I'd appreciate if you followed me too 💕
