OMG! Thank you so much! That makes more sense. I didnt realise I need to use different types of cleanser when I do it twice. Normally, I would just use any cleanser I have twice. Didnt realise the ingredients can make my skin irritated this way.
Also, thanks so much for recommending cleanser products! This will definitely help!💯

you might have a sensitivity to one or more ingredient in these products. many of these do have fragrance and some also have denatured alcohol for instance the serum, this uses a lot of pretty strong and somewhat drying ingredients like denatured alcohol, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, the last 2 ingredients I mentioned are exfoliating acids which are great for acne and texture,… but can be sensitizing when used more than 4 times a week in my opinion. a lot of these also have niacinamide which is an amazing ingredients but has been known to be sensitizing when used to much.

and you also mention that u use the purifying gel cleanser in a double cleansing system with another water based cleanser right?

double cleaning is a system where you use 2 different kinds of cleansers the fist cleansing step is usually oil based like a cleansing oil or a cleansing balm, a miccelar water could also be an option this you lather on your skin and after 30 to 60 seconds you rinse it off with water, because water and oil clash all of the dirt, make-up, sunscreen,… will be washed off and they you can proceed with the second cleansing step which is normally water based like the purifying one, using 2 water based cleanser immediately after each other can be a little much for the skin sometimes
