Is it normal to feel stinging in TO Niacinamide?

I am currently using the ordinary's niacinamide serum with azelic cream 20% in the morning and tretinoin 0.05% and I can really feel stinging. Is this normal?

maybe when u first started using it or when ur skin is really sensitive. Or maybe you use too much. It doesnt sting for me, only when my skin is really sensitive. But I havent used it with azelic cream and tretinoin.

Like when does it stings? Do you apply the serum first and then azelic cream and tretinoin? In my opinion these are all very strong. I do hope you apply tretinoin at night because the sun will wreck havic on your skin with tretinoin on. I use another brand 10% Niacinamide serum and they said I could mix my Niacinamide with a hydrating toner or serum as a buffer to reduce irritation. It’s something you should try
