It shouldn't burn. Why do you think it's because of hyaluronic acid?
The toner contains a lot of ingredients, among which I see a lot of different oils. I would check other products you used and compare ingredients. Then you might be able to narrow down the ingredient that irritates your skin.

We already have Hyaluron in our body hence Hyaluronic Acid have very low chance of irritation. And it should not burn. Just like @Alca said above you might want to checkthe other ingredients of the toner or, it could be the tretinoin. Tretinoin could sensitize sensitive skin.

I agree, it shouldn't burn and is likely another ingredient that is causing the burning feeling.

it shouldn’t burn.. maybe you are having a reaction to one of the ingredients.. our skin can be very sensitive.. I always do a patch test first with any new products just to make sure there isn’t any funny reactions .. which is why I love samples of things before I buy

when I started to use hyaluronic acid it stinger for a bit, but went away like 3 month after using it. it only really hurts for me when I have just popped a pimple and it is open. it should not burn
I was using a toner and it felt like it was burning my face. 3 day later my whole chin is red and it burned the first layer of skin. :( I used petroleum jelly to help repair my skin barrier and skin. do not use a product if it continues to burn or hurt your skin!
hopefully this was helpful!😄💕

if you feel burning after popping a pimple that usually means that product has alcohol in it if I'm not mistaken 🤔
