I've only just tried celimax. From my experience the texture of the lotion is a mixture of cream and essence because it is like a cream but not thick and of course it is easier to spread on the skin. I think it's also like a moisturizer

What i understand the term lotion is widely used in Japanese skincare which refers to toner with slight viscous, transparent texture. meanwhile, in Korean skincare, lotion is most of the time refer watery gel cream that looks milky. lotion in Korean skincare can be used as moisturizer esp for oilier skin people/during summer season.

I use my lotions after my serums but before my moisturizer. it gives an extra layer of goodness to my skin
