Hello đđ» niacinamide is not supposed to cause purging, but you still might be sensitive to it or it can cause allergic reaction. That is probably what is happening. Also, some people react badly to zinc in ordinaryâs formulation, but since there is no zinc in one of the serums youâve tried, Iâm afraid youâre reacting to niacinamide.
Also, some people canât handle 10% niacinamide. Have you ever try a lower percentage or is 10% the only percentage youâve ever tried?

Our skin tend to purge when using active ingredients. Even tough Niacinamide is considered an active ingredients (Vit B3), it doesnât cause purging cause it doesnât speed up the skin regeneration as BHA, AHA, and retinol does.
There are 2 clause that might happen. First, your skin canât tolerate niacinamide. Second, the overall product formulation that break you out.
As in my case, I canât tolerate Vit C and its derivatives. I know itâs bo not purging bcs everytime I use it; a cyst is coming out the next day.
Hope this helps đ
