Falling in Love with the Lagom Cellup Micro Foam Cleanser

I received this product for free from Picky and Rovectin in exchange for my honest review. Thank you Lagom and Picky! Why Lagom? This brand is the interdisciplinary brainchild of a top Korean makeup artist, Go Won Hye, and 12 highly credentialed skin specialists. This group combined years of experience understanding and treating skin problems and skin diseases and developed the Lagom skincare line. Why this Product? Lagom’s Cellup Micro Foam Cleanser harnesses the power of its star ingredients to thoroughly cleanse and hydrate while also soothing, toning and strengthening the skin. Star ingredients include: Aqualicia, a Nobel Prize winning peptide that is engineered to trap water in the skin, distribute the water, and then limit water loss; Sapindus Mukorossi, or Indian soapberry, a natural anti-inflammatory and antibacterial cleanser that also moisturizes the skin and makes it look radiant. Finally, Saponaria officinalis, or soapwort extract, is a natural cleanser that soothes the skin. Soapwort extract also contains vitamin C and flavonoids (a rich source of antioxidants). Finally, this cleanser contains an array of essential oils including orange, lavender, geranium, bergamot, sandalwood, rose flower, matricaria, and myrrh. Look, Feel and Smell: The cleanser comes as a thick, pearlescent, bright white cream. The lather is ultra-fine, rich, and silky smooth. One thing that struck me was that the bubbles did not disappear or dry into a stiff film. Once I built the lather, I could do other things (like finish my shower) and the rich foam stayed put and stayed hydrating. This cleanser smells like soap. Not some ordinary soap, but rather the cleanser has an almost imperceptible crisp, clean and somehow at once luxe scent that matches its clinical packaging. Like soap that came with your expensive hotel room. I was especially surprised at the fresh lightness of the aroma considering the number of essential oils the cleanser contains (see above). Performance, and Would I Purchase? I used this cleanser exclusively during the trial period. A few times, I even let my face air dry after cleansing—no toner, no nothing—but my skin never got tight and gray! My skin stayed its very rich brown, demonstrating the cleanser’s hydrating properties. I highly recommend this cleanser if you desire an immaculate foam cleansing experience. *To Note: If you are someone who is allergic to the essential oils, then this product would not be for you. You cannot smell the oils—as I said, the cleanser has a clean and crisp scent; however, an allergy is an allergy even if the product doesn’t have a scent, so if you are allergic to these oils then you should probably stay away.
