Retinol a treatment for acne?

Retinol was discovered primarily for acne treatment so even if today it is mostly marketed as an anti-aging ingredient, it still benefits greatly for those with acne prone skin. It's not a quick solution however but will improve your skin over time. This one is a good one to start with and you can slowly work your way up to higher strength if your skin is happy with it. You may get some purging in the first few weeks and that's completely normal.
