Facial pigmentation

Okay, so I'm getting older and I have noticed some facial dark spots occuring. I'm not too much in the sun. Don't use harsh products. I am thinking old age setting in. What do you @picky guys do! What's a girl to do? Any suggestions? Send them my way.

Well.. Hyperpigmentation is a very complex problem and it takes time and consistency. There are several actives that can help treating it. The most effective treatments are prescribed by derms. When we talk drugstore, it's more effective to combine actives. Some serums do that already: The Ordinary Ascorbic Acid and alpha arbutin combines two super effective actives and its so inexpensive The Tia'm combines alpha arbutin with niacinamide. It's ny as effective in my opnion The Niod Re:pigment combines several active sand it's extremely effective. Actually, you should use it as spot treatment with a q tip. Otherwise the area that gets serum gets lighter over time. Mnay of these serums get bad reviews because people have used them for 1 month and can't see a clear effect. The fact is that untreated hyperpigmentation can last 20 or 30 years and even when treated at a derm office, can take 6 months to a year to treat.

Hey hun, welcome to Picky 🤗 I've noticed a few sunspot too! I added this to my routine recently. I've yet to see a difference but to be fair, it's too soon to assess. Check it out, though!

This product has been helping me fade some dark spots. It’s taken a few months to work, but I’ve noticed my dark spots are now lighter.

A combination of regular use of Sunscreen, AHA, Vit C, Niacinamide and retinol will help. Sunscreen that you want to use daily is a must while the rest can be spreaded out a few times a week
