Can propolis be combined with AHA BHA PHA?

hey! So i usually wear this cosrx propolis serum and it really benefit for my skin i love this serum. Recently i got this idea to use it after I exfoliate using some by mi toner, the next day i got fungal acne at my forehead. I always use this toner 1-2 times a week too but i never done this step before, and i never got break out after using the toner so i'm little confused about this. If you know something let me know please!:)

Typically, propolis can be used with any ingredient. I've tried two propolis serums (not COSRX one) and never had a problem even after using an exfoliator. But neither of these two products is fungal acne safe, so if you have fungal acne, you should look for products tagged as safe or use them separately if you had no bad reaction.
