Hands down, the best thing to help lighten dark spots is to consistently wear broad spectrum SPF. I recommend this one by EltaMD, because it contains niacinamide which helps even skin tone. Layering a good vitamin c serum under your SPF each morning is also great for fighting dark spots. I use this gentle exfoliating toner daily as well as exfoliating weekly with these toner pads. I’ve only ever tried a handful of dark spot treatments/serums and I find each one of them work really well with my combo/sensitive acne prone skin. I’m also looking to try the EltaMD Broad-Spectrum sunscreen so I’ll let you know how that performs when I do, or you could let me know if you end up trying the product out. :)))
