What the worst skincare advice you've ever been given?

Mine is you don't need to wear sunscreen if you're not leaving the house 🤣

If that's the worst advice you got, you have a blessed life. 😉 I was told to dry out my pimples with alcohol, pop them if they have a white cap or use a needle if they don't 😭😭

the most recent one is one day I told someone i was putting sunscreen everyday especially because I had hyperpigmentation and acne then the person took a minute to think then said to me "yeah just go out in the sun it helps with acne" I was like....🤨

When I was a teenager everyone told me to go into the sun to get rid of pimples. I had acne and when we took a family vacation next to the sea my face actually cleared up. Don’t know if it’s from the salt water. But now I can’t go out the door without sunscreen 🤣

this one is exactly the ‘direction how to use’ a product.. literally wrote in the product packaging to mix it with apple cider vinegar for a better result and when i do so i got breakout 😶

you might just have a reaction to the ingredients. That’s not bad advice.
