Keratosis Pilaris

Anyone struggling with KP here?! Please let me know what routine do you follow to have your KP under control. I have used KP eraser by First Aid Beauty but I found it expensive and it did not completely cure my KP (at this point I dont even know if I’ll ever see a day without tiny bumps on my legs 🥲) I am looking for some skincare recommendations to help me with this condition. Body scrubs, exfoliating solutions, whatever! Just let me know! Sincerely, Your 🐤 🍓 skin girl

Moisturizing is a must! Cetaphil was what my doctor prescribed back years ago for my son that had it bad. It is hereditary and I have a mild version on my upper arms and my son’s Dad had on upper arms and thighs. Poor son got double! Cetaphil has the new and improved that is “Rough Bumpy Skin.”. Whatever you find, make sure the main ingredient is UREA. It exfoliates and moisturizers. Honestly, since I’ve been on a skincare journey and have learned and experienced the power of Hyaluronic Acid, what I would do is exfoliate in the shower, after drying off, wet your skin with a toner and immediately add Hyaluronic Acid on and let air dry before mositurizer. I wanna bet you’ll see results quickly if you do it consistently. Exfoliate once a day, but do the other steps 2x a day. I’m curious what will work for you. I’m tnfriendrenee on IG. Let’s keep in touch. Good luck —Renee

Something with high percentage of Urea helps and something with salicylic acid can too Urea help to break down the keratin at the pores while salicylic acid increase cell turn over and help to break down the rough parts. While both will help moisturized and soften the bumps

i have kp in my upper arms. I apply 2 percent salicylic acid on it after bath, then moisturizer with a body lotion. I bought that salicylic acid in a drugstore for cheap and it works as long as I apply it everyday. However, if i wont apply it, the kp would still be there
