You should avoid using any retinol because Epiduo Forte as far as the internet tells me contains adapalene which is a retinoid.
As for moisturizer, I feel like you should be using it as I feel like your skin would be getting a bit too dry since Epiduo Forte is a mix of benzoyl peroxide and adapalene.

I’d definitely try a different moisturizer so you don’t damage your skin. Ask your derma to make sure.

adapelene is a retinoid so please don’t combine it with retinol!! I would use a basic soothing moisturiser with nothing fancy in it (retinols or actives). benzoyl peroxide can really dry out the skin so I am shocked a derm didn’t recommend moisturiser
