Mugwort or Cica?

Hi, Picky family! I'm just wondering, which one do you choose between mugwort or cica? Actually, I've never tried mugwort before, so please give me your thoughts.. Thank you very much!

I've never tried mugwort but I'll definitely go for it if I had the chance. Cica doesn't work well for me.

I'm sorry to hear that. But what do you mean cica doesn't work well on your skin? Is it irritating or something bad? I wonder what will happen.

Cica, because i like the smell better and it’s cheaper 😂 they both work well, but it’s easier to find an affordable cica product and there are more options when looking for cica

Totally agree with you. The scent of cica is relaxing, right? Indeed, mugwort is more expensive, if given the opportunity I might want to try it too. ☺

After trying both cica and mugwort, I’ve honestly seen better results with my mugwort! However, as said below, cica is so much more affordable. The Cosrx cica line is an AMAZIG affordable line to give it a go. I like their toner if you want a lightweight experience and their serum or cream for a more thicker one. The iunik centella calming gel cream is also a nice lightweight moisturiser if you would like it in that form - I’ve been using this for a month and I love how it reduced the redness on my skin. However, I was recently gifted the isntree mugwort ampoule by Picky and it changed my skincare game! It relieved my sore patches so much, and helped with a lot of my redness much quicker too. I also found it to be more hydrating for my dry skin. I would have never bought it because of the price tag but I don’t mind splurging on it after my experience. I’m From also have a very good mugwort line but once again, they are pricey. These are just my experiences haha, but I did enjoy both so it’s all based on your preference and budget!

Thank you, Ishiskin! You explain it so detailed and informative. Sounds interesting and awesome! I guess I'll have to save up to buy one of the mugwort products you mentioned. 😍
