Welcome to Australia! My favourite brand is La Roche Posay. slightly expensive, but so worth it. You can buy it at Priceline or Chemist Warehouse near you :)

definitely try out the sunscreens!! many affordable drugstore brands there and all of them undergo strict testing. a lot of them are also very affordable and come in large sizes up to 1L. 🙂

yes try the supermarkets like Coles, Woolworths, Aldi. also try pharmacies like Chemist Warehouse and Priceline? some brands to look out for include Coles, Pharmacy Health, Woolworths, Ombra, Cancer Council, Hamilton. hope this helps :)
