Vit C turned yellow 😞

Hi beautiful people! My vit c serum was previously in pale yellowish colour, however recently I’ve realised that, it has turned to a bit darker yellow. Does this indicate that it has been oxidised? And if it does, will you still use it for few more times or just discard it??? 😩😩

You can compare your serum’s color with this picture, if it’s oxidized then stop using it cuz it’s not effective anymore and it could cause skin’s irritation 💖

i am afraid it indeed has oxidized. i’d recommend not using it on your face anymore to prevent irritation!

yep, it has oxidized. For me, since my skin is sensitive, i will end up using it on my body instead since i couldn't take the risk of ruining my skin.

yes, it did oxidized.. it’s pretty common for Vitamin C products… I used to wrap my Vitamin C serums’ bottles in a foil to minimize contact with light. My skin is not sensitive, so if it turns just slightly darker I’d still use it.

You can use it on the body instead, specially the elbows, knees and in your hand too.
