Sunscreen + Teary Eyes

Hello 🌈 My sunscreen is not waterproof so when it makes me cry (I have sensitive eyes sadly every sunscreen makes me cry) does that mean I have to wait until my eyes have stopped stinging and reapply? I normally never reapply because it’ll continue to sting. Can someone give me tips on how to deal with sensitive eyes and sunscreen. Thanks.

some sunscreens ive tried before also sting my eyes. especially when i get sweaty, my eyes will also tear up like i am cutting onions 🧅 when it starts to sting, i really cant open my eyes till it dries up and have to wait for the stinging to be gone. but those sunscreen are not alcohol free. alcohol and fragrance free sunscreens suits well for me and doesn’t sting my eyes at all

I've heard that applying powder around your eye area helps the sunscreen from migrating towards your eye and helps prevent eyesting. Or you can just apply another sunscreen that you know doesn't sting your eyes around your eye area?

Always have this problem with most chemical sunscreens so that’s one of the reasons I wear mineral sunscreens.
