Underrated vs. Overrated Brands

What are some brands in the skincare space that you believe deserve more credit? Whether it be their interesting formulations, their environmental practices, etc. let us know! Of course where there is the underrated there is the overrated! What brands get too much hype? Get too much unwarranted praise? I’ll go first. My underrated brand: Good Molecules! With prices similar to the inkey list and the ordinary, they provide a wide range of products for varying needs and break down EVERY SINGLE ingredient and their percentages in their products! My overrated brand: biossance! While I think it can be beneficial for some people, the only flagship ingredients to this brand are squalane and tea tree oil, maybe bakuchiol. But all theee are relatively inexpensive so it seems extremely overpriced to me, as well as at a concentration that can be irritating to those affected by essential oils.

Papa recipe needs way more love in my opinion, I want to try everything of theirs!!! Overrated for me would be Cerave!! There’s plenty of brands that do deserve all of their hype though ❤️

Overrated: Rodan and Fields skincare and makeup. Terrible products that are way too overpriced. 🤮 Underrated: Tarte drink of H20 hydrating boost. Sheglam makeup, so good and at decent prices. 😃
