To all my fungal acne sufferer

First of all my condolence If you have it. I feel you. It really is kind of crippling. We all know how it goes, there are thousands of new skincare products that are published every year with interesting formulations or ingredients or promises and you are hyped up to try them only to realize that they are Not fungal acne safe. Unfortunately this is not a rare case. It IS really hard to find fungal acne safe products especially fa safe moisturizer. Therefore here IS my questions which products did you find that are fungal acne safe. Here are some I've found. I am mostly excluding toners cause a lot of them are safe.

Yes it's really hard. Avoiding fatty acids and nourishing butters ,chlosterol can also work . I suggest this moisturizer good enough for malazzia .It's hydrating ,lightweight and provide optimum moisture and hydration to the skin.

Dry/Sensitive

God forbid if you suffer from Malassezia (fungal acne) and maybe something else such as rosacea and have dry skin on top. The job at finding a good moisturizer suddenly becomes 1000x harder as if it wasn't enough already, as you are suppposed to avoid a good chunk of 90-95% of all available skincare, haircare and makeup. Gel moisturizers are shite in general for dry skin but these are the most available options if they are FA safe. Otherwise you have to stick to non-FA safe moisturizers or ones containing essential oils such as bergamot oil in the composition, which are not the best for sensitive skin. YMMV. From my research I understand that anyone can develop this condition under the right conditions. Using too many antibiotics when you are sick or if you live in a hot humid climate (Philippines is one of the countries where people commonly develop this disease). So in short the chances for anyone else to develop this yeast overgrowth are pretty slim, but once you get this condition, you never really "heal" completely and have to keep it under control. This is something no one directly tells you. I wish brands would start acknowledging FA and other skin diseases when formulating their products. Anyway, leaving the rant aside, here are my moisturizer recommendations for all of you FA sufferers. I see different versions for the La Roche Posay Fluid Moisturizer, I recommend you to check the ingredient list through an online ingredient list reader such as sezia.co to see the correct product for you. The Purito Oat in Gel is more of like a thicker serum, good for oily skin or for layering. I also recommend incorporating squalane oil into your routine. I personally use Curel Moisture Cream, Purito Oat in Gel and The Inkey List squalane. I hope this helps someone.

I totally understand what you mean and it IS infuriating that many Brands won't aknowledge this skin disease while formulating their products.
