Thoughts on La Roche-Posay Cicaplast for combination and acne-prone skin?

Was wondering if this product causes breakouts? Some say it works wonders for acne and some say it worsens it. I usually don't have quite active breakouts these days but anything that clogs my pores can trigger it, but the thing is my cheeks get quite dry and irritated. Is this something I should try out or not?

It never triggered any break out or clogged pores on my skin. To be safe maybe apply it locally on your dry cheeks, at the very end of your skincare routine on top or your moisturizer. A thin normal layer is enough with Cicaplast to get results.

I’m quite prone to milia so it made mine on my cheek worse but I’m okay using it on my forehead to help lighten my dark spots. it’s fine on dark spots and hyperpigmentation but can make active acne worse. I would compare the ingredients of products in the past that have clogged your pores to the cicaplast and see if the main ingredients compare or the ‘heavier or creamier’ ones

I never experienced any clogging / breakouts when I used LRP products and had hormonal acne. They might be pricey, but tge one thing I will hand to LRP is that they work for even the most sensitive, reactive skin.
