it is a bit hard to say how you will react until you try. Snail works very well for some, but others break out or are allergic.
if you do buy it, try patch testing on your arm or neck before going in to a damaged barrier, which will show if you have a negative reaction to it.

i had the benton one and i also have damaged skin barrier it was good, helped with my acne but not enough hydrating for me the lotion one, maybe a good hydrating serum before him will get the job done a ceramides one!

I love this product! Almost any product with a high concentration of small mucin is usually really good! Also, another ingredient that works really really good, that I didn't even find out about until relatively recently is snail venom!
I haven't tried any products that have it yet, but I have tried some products with bee venom and also some with syn-ake (synthetic snake venom), and they worked really really good!
It's definitely a lot harder to find products with snail venom than it is to find products with snail mucin, but one of these days I'll try one and review it!
