I just switched from chemical to mineral/physical and it's been so much better for my sensitive skin! I am using a moisturizer with sunscreen from BaeSix.

I totally agree! It is also safer than chemical ones for skin. I also have sensitive skin. Plus mineral is best and more effective for regions with very high temperatures. Where I'm based it gets as high as 47 C. And that is a very interesting suggestion! I will have a look at this one. Thank you! β¨οΈπ

Can you give your reason as to why you say they're healthier and better in every way? Cause I can think a handful of reasons why chemical is far superior than mineral SPFs.

Point wise. (I didn't see reply option below your message so replying under this).
1. Hydrating and moisturizing ingredients are added to counter that dryness to make the product moisturizing.
2. Though nanoparticles have not been found an issue, new innovations and future products are getting a focus of having no nanoparticles in them too to make them more safe. Also good that new chemical generation is safe due to R&D.
3. I'm aware of the Zinc Oxide 20%. Also depends on which products are actually that effective in UB blocking performance, be it a chemical or physical sunscreen.
4. Yes to the hybrid. Which is why chemical sunscreens are most common in market. And physical ones are also made hybrid in recent years and innovation both for moisturizing ability, spf performance, and a bit elegant texture. And it's a given that any product is not/never made up of only two ingredients too. Facilitators and catalysts are there.
5. Chemical penetration deep down is heard to cause free radical damage, so antioxidants and other plant extracts for instance are added as skin care elements.
The cosmetically elegant appeal is where chemical ones gain main popularity. And certainly people of color do better with those.
You had good information there.
Also, it is all about R&D and innovation. If that can bring better and safe SPF options especially to do with ingredients, then why not, we would use them. π

Oh my, I once checked it's formulation, but then the other watery sun gel caught my eye more often everywhere. Picky rating for this is really good! I'd definitely give it a try now. Thanks for moving my attention back to this product! π
Another among new I heard is the Skin1004 hyalu cica sun serum. That could also suit our skin type? I would be trying both. π

These three are my favorite zinc sunscreens. The Klavuu one has a very nice peachy finish so I can skip makeup. The rovectin one is slightly dewy. The Isntree one (don't confuse it with their chemical sunscreen, they look almost identical) feels a bit heavier but is great for winter.

Yes, I was just discussing the Isntree one.
So the klavuu is more a tinted one then right. There's a recent information on the internet saying that tinted are really good skin protectors especially from hyperpigmentation.
Thanks for the suggestions. I'll look up the remaining two. πβ¨οΈ
