Dehydrated/Damaged Moisture Barrier?

I am Oily/Acne-Prone and despite this, I noticed that there are super tiny lines when I move certain parts of my face. Not the best description but I can compare it to looking like a very thin layer of dried Elmer’s glue that’s being stretched out with fine lines that move depending on the direction I move the parts of my face. Since noticing this, I started using Hada Labo hydrating lotion (4 drops, 2x a day). My moisturizer is GNC VIT C as it does not oil me up compared to others. I still blot my face about 2x a day. Do I have dehydrated/damaged moisture barrier? Or am I just overthinking? Thank you in advance! Here’s my routine in case it helps: Heimish 5.5ph All Clean Green Foam Hada Labo Goku-Jyun Hydrating Lotion Luxe Organix Cica Rescue Calming Serum or Toner (AM & PM) The Inkey List Niacinamide (PM) GNC Vit C Moisturizer Luxe Organix Aqua Daily Sunscreen (AM) I also use Cosrx Natural BHA Skin Returning A-sol about once a week, but it depends if I feel like I’m breaking out or clogging my pores. Otherwise I dont use it as often but I noticed that based on experience it has helped me with my hormonal acne. Any advice is much appreciated! ❣️

Hi dear, everyone have fine lines too especially while doing some face expressions. That’s completely normal. That’s probably not damaged skin barrier, when ur skin is dry/red/irritated easily/flackyness then it maight be the sign of compromised skin barrier. Imo ur pretty is pretty great tho 😍😍👍🏻👍🏻 so I might be overthinking, if u felt that u r using too much products on ur face, try going back to the basic skincare routine awhile then gradually add up products again. ☺️☺️

dehydrated skin is ususally the opposite ! that your skin is misismg hydration from within ! i am not really sure if your skin barrier is dmged ,however youre using hyaluroinix acid and niacinamide which can both help with barrier repair ❕

your routine looks great! however it maybe still lack of hydration. Do you check your water intake??? I thjnk maybe you can add hydrating ampoule to your routine to add on hydration. these two below are my favs. You also can add sheet mask with hydrating purposes and try to use it everyday for a week. I bet your skin will be better

It does sound like dehydration. Introducing hada labo to your routine was a great choice 🥰
