Hypochlorous acid and snail mucin can be used together in skincare routines. Hypochlorous acid is a mild acid that can help with acne and wound healing, while snail mucin is known for its hydrating and soothing properties. There is no evidence to suggest that acids make antioxidants useless.

I don’t mean acids in general. I referred to hypochlorous acid

You are correct that Hypochlorous Acid, being an acid itself, may interact with certain ingredients like vitamin A (retinoids) and vitamin C, and Yes, you can use Hypochlorous Acid and Snail Mucin together.

I’ve seen conflicting information about hypochlorous acid and antioxidants. Some sources say hypochlorous acid cancels out the effects of antioxidants and I’ve also seen some derma on IG say there’s no evidence to support that.

Hey! What cool, unique question! So I did a bit of research for you because this is a combination I haven’t heard before. After reading on them, it looks like it would be fine to use them together, however, I would suggest you still test it out on a small part of your skin before applying completely. Sometimes, based on your individual skin type, it might not suit you to apply.
