Purging only occurs when you use a product that helps to speed up skin turnover, which involves retinoids, AHAs and BHA only. Other than that, it's not considered purging but a breakout.
Is this the only new product introduced into your routine? Are you using any exfoliants or retinoids?
The D'alba mist doesn't contain any of those active ingredients, so if you're not using any of the actives mentioned above, then it's likely what you're going through is a breakout. You might be sensitive to one (or more) of the ingredients. It does contain fragrance and a bunch of plant extracts, which can be irritating for some
In any case, stop using it and stick to the basic routine for now - gentle cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen. Don't use any exfoliants at the moment as it could further irritate your skin

There are no specific actives that would cause purging.
More likely it’s allergic reaction to something in the mist or something it it your skin is sensitive to. I’d stop using and focus on barrier repair to see what happens

Does it contain any alcohol, acids or withhazel, citric ingredients or essential oils? In your recent post you wrote you have Rosacea. Rosacea sensitive skin can sometimes be triggered by these type of ingredienrs

ouchh i can feel the itch from the screen 😭 the ingredients doesnt seem to contain any ingredient that can cause purging. the fact that your skin has red itchy splotches seem to point to irritation instead. perhaps youre sensitive to the fragrance or essential oils?

Itching, redness, and breakouts can be signs of a negative reaction or sensitivity to a product. It's important to listen to your skin and discontinue use this product. You may consider patch testing new products on a small area of your skin before applying them to your entire face to see if any irritation occurs.
