its effectiveness varies from person to person. While some individuals have seen positive results with Bio-Oil, others may not experience significant improvements.
Look for products that contain ingredients like vitamin C, retinoids, niacinamide, or AHAs, as they are known to address these concerns. Additionally, consider using topical treatments like silicone gel or sheeting for scar reduction. Don't forget to protect your skin from the sun with a high SPF sunscreen. Stick to a consistent skincare routine with gentle cleansing, exfoliation (if suitable for your skin), and moisturizing.

Oily/Resilient
I have a love hate relationship with this brand. They use oil based products which my oily skin is not a big fan of. It manage to ligthen my scars a bit but i stop using it after cause it stains my clothes, pillowcase and bed sheets. I also got many new pimples around the area where i use the oil

I'm not sure if you are talking about textured acne scar ( sorry I can't recall the specific name for it) or just a surface pigmentation scarring? Most dermatologist would say that those textured one couldn't be 100% fixed by skincare alone.. But there are some options to reduce their appearance though..
I could recall something about stimulating collagen production by using peptides.
For hyperpigmentation, try searching for products with actives that helps spotlighting...
Like vit c and tranexamic acid. And something that accelerates skin turnover rate and last but not least top it off with consistent sunscreen, exfoliating and hydration routine.
