Personally I use cleansing oils for lighter makeup. Make prem and Anua have good ones

I did try it with makeup (not wearing mascara or eyeliner though) and I was really impressed how it easily removed my makeup. I had the most stubborn and difficult to remove matte liquid lipstick on my lips and the cleansing balm worked perfectly to remove it. The product is fragranced so it depends on your preference for scented products if you will like it or not.
