Hello 👋🏻 these are the ingredients that can’t be mixed because they won’t work:
▶️ peptides and acids - acids can break the peptides
▶️ benzoyl peroxide and retinol- they cancel each other out; the only retinoid that can be used with benzoyl peroxide is adapalene, but it’s best to use those ingredients together if they are already formulated in the same product
▶️ bezoyl peroxide and vit c - benzoyl peroxide can oxidize vitamin c and they are both rendered useless
▶️ retinol and sun - retinol doesn’t work in uv light, that’s why they can’t be applied in the morning. The only retinoid that is stable enough to work in the sunlight is adapalene. Also, some companies have products with retinol stabilizing technologies so that their products can be used in the morning, but those are exceptions, not the rule
▶️copper peptides and vit c - copper might oxidize vit c
Other than that, you can mix pretty much anything, but mixing harsh actives like aha, bha, vit c and retinols together can be pretty irritating so it isn’t something that is advisable 🥰

basically you can mix all ingredients, unless they cancel each other ! Also some combinstions ( e.x AhA and BHA or AHA\BHA and retinol) tend to be irritating !

Retinols should never go with AHA and BHA but can be put both morning or night 2-3 times a week, can be moxed with niacinamide, but not vit c.
I usually don't mix aha and bha if the acids are in different products. If they are in one than that is ok, like the Ordinary Aha and Bha acid peel.
Peptides and aha and bha should also not be mixed it renders the peptides useless.
You can mix niacinamide and vit c, contraty to popular belief.
If i remember something else i will add later.
Hope I helped.
