These are my top 3 ingredients for dark spots and brightening with a few product recommendations per ingredient
Vitamin C: this is one of the strongest face brightening ingredients there is, it is best to use in the morning but can also be used at night, don’t mix with other actives in the same routine, never forget to use sunscreen because it will only get worse, here are some vitamin C recommendations
Jumiso vitamin 5.5 glow serum: this is a low concentration vitamin C which also contains alpha arbutin that also helps with brightening
Dr. Althea vitamin C serum: this one has a slightly higher concentration but is stil sensitive skin safe
Cosrx vitamin C23 serum: this is a stronger vitamin c that I would only recommend to advanced users (they do have a 13% version though)
Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA): is another great ingredient for brightening the skin because it exfoliates dead skin cells and reveals new fresh skin (these are usually not very sensitive skin friendly but there are some that are still great for sensitive skin) since this is an exfoliating treatment they should not be used daily or together with vitamin C or Retinol in the same routine some recommendations follow
The ordinary glycolic acid toner: this is one of the strongest and most effective glycolic acid products but since it is strong it’s a little more advanced and I would definitely patch test before
Krave kale-lalu-yaha toner: this one is a little more sensitive skin safe
Isntree chestnut AHA 8% essence: this is also a more sensitive skin friendly option
Retinol: this is a ingredient that speeds up cell renewal, it has a lot of benifits like: anti-aging, brightening, acne treating,…
It is something that should only be used at night at a max of 3 times a week and you should slowly build up and never forget your sunscreen in the morning here are some recommendations

The inkey list retinol
Beauty of joseon retinal: this uses retinal which is stronger and more suitable for sensitive skin, it says eye cream but can be used all over your face and neck

I love Vitamin C for my current hyperpigmentation, but daily sunscreen has been key for preventing them from getting worse!!
