You can use cotton pads to gently physically exfoliate, I see many Korean makeup artists doing this to prep the skin for makeup. However I personally prefer to apply toner with hands to avoid waste.

I honestly use cotton rounds when I want to get a deeper clean with my toner. So really only for toners with AHA, BHA, PHA, ect. For any other types of toner, or if I don’t feel like I need that “extra exfoliation” that the cotton round offers, I usually just apply with my hands. 😊

Coton pads are great with exfoliating toners. Other than that you can use your palms.

Thanks! But I wouldn’t consider this Isntree one exfoliating? Unless I’m misunderstanding the type of toner I bought?

I think it really just comes down to personal preference. Applying with your hands is totally fine, that’s how I prefer to apply all of my toners. Very rarely do I use a cotton round to apply toner.

I usually just pour a tiny bit out into my palm and then straight onto my face. The cotton soaks so much more up and everything is expensive enough as it is. Maybe they tell you to use a cotton round to need to replace the bottle faster lol. It mostly comes down to personal preference I find - most of the time. The exception I find is if I wore heavy makeup and they're may be remaining traces... Sometimes even after double cleansing I still find foundation color on the cotton. So that's the only time I'll usually use a cotton. But I could be missing out on some strategy by not using cottons.
Just my two cents lol

That came to mind!! To waste the product faster…I decided to try using the cotton for the toner but it uses so much of the product 🙁Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this!
