Help! Is at home Chemical Peeling Safe?

I’m considering to have a chemical peeling done, but since I’m not entirely sure on this, can anyone advice: 1. The best type of chemical peel 2. Any risks or possible side effects 3. Is there a special aftercare I need to be aware of? 4. Is it painful? Thank you all lovely ladies!!

Chemical peels should only be done by a licensed professional as they involve taking off multiple layers of skin. If not done properly may lead to severe burns and scarring. Most Chemical peels are not available to non professionals, however some skincare brands sell their versions which are safer for use by regular people. Always use them as directed by the specific brands. However if you notice burning or irritation rinse it off and cease use

The only at home chemical peels I know of is the one from The Ordinary and similar versions from various other brands. Those are safe for use at home as long as you follow the instructions properly.
