I read this from the brand
“Cica Reedle is designed to naturally shed along with the skin's dead cells over several days after application. If any residues remain, they will not be absorbed into your body; instead, they will be removed naturally.”

I had seen the video and got scared too! I looked up other reviews and so many people talked about how it hurts to apply 🥲

I've been wanting to try the "Reedle shot 100" by "VT cosmetics" too! It might temporarily sting at first but if it works , its worth it! After all.....it cant sting no worse than micro-needling , derma rolling , botox or juvaderm injections , plasma/laser treatments , ect. On a side note....the spicules in the VT cosmetics is different from other brands/products that use them. They use Cica Reedle which expels naturally from the body. So they must've done their homework and researched the use of spicules in skincare , as well as the different types and their effectiveness or side effects.

Thanks for your comment! For sure they didn’t just put research into it, but I hadn’t seen anything in their website stating that they are shed with the skin turnover or are absorbed. Plus, in the studies I read it was always « we believe the spicules shed », it was never a sure statement.

I didn’t know about this controversy but now I’m gonna look into the science of this product myself. I’m not a cosmetic chemist though so it’s beyond my knowledge lol
