I’ve used both and I like the Fino mask. It leaves my hair shiny, soft, and moisturized. This one from Elizavecca is a dupe for the Olaplex and it’s super affordable.

I can only speak for Olaplex No 3 + Olaplex No 0 but they requires consistency and they do truly refortify/relink the hair’s bonds (that are damaged/broken because of heat styling). As for necessarily reversing heat damage, it doesnt. I used it on my heat damaged hair and it made my hair strong and super soft but I ended up cutting my hair anyways because my curl pattern was still trucked up lol.

Comparing a bonder to a conditioner is apples to oranges. It’s best to know what you need. If you just need a great conditioner then go for the Fino mask but if your hair is damaged and breaking then you should go with a bonding treatment. 💛💛💛💛💛

What is a bonding treatment ? What is the difference between that and a simple conditioner/ shampoo

Personally I will not go with olaplex ever again. It caused a lot of hairfall and I guess there is also an on going lawsuit on the brand for the same claim

I’ve only tried the Olaplex one and I have used it a few times and haven’t noticed anything huge for that price point. I only wash my hair once a week and it says on the package use about 2x a week, so might be user error, but I’ve heard great things about the Fino mask and it’s on my wish list to try next!
